Bather by curious3d Bather by curious3d
This one is just about done, but not quite yet. I am very pleased with the composition and most of the texturing. For now, I need to step away from it for a bit because I can't see the forest for the trees.

Which is where you come in. :)

Any glaring problems? Comments? Suggestions?

Again, nice. I like what you do with water.

the arm looks a bit rigid to me, maybe flexed would look better. can't say about anything else, i don't really have an artsy eye.

Very nice. The water is perhaps a little too glassy and smooth but that is probably just a matter of personal opinion.

excellent composition
there's a kind of strange band on the lower right part of the render in the water(see your signature...)
perhaps some reflecting bugs in the sea...
but hey excellent job !!!

I've adjusted that - it was just a reflection of the ocean floor in the low curve of that wave. :) I'll upload the final once I'm finished tweaking it. Thanks for the comment - I honestly appreciate all the help I can get!

nice work, the wave is great and I love the atmo.
The beach surface is perhaps a little too smooth, but that could just be due to the distance from the camera.

I struggled with that. there are actually low dunes there, and it's not completely smooth, but because of the way the light hits the lower part, the detail doesn't show. It's obviously not a sea with enormous waves anyway, so perhaps the sand is just flat and gentle because of that. Yea! that's it! :D

Posing is fantastic. Wave, and her hands. It just fits there perfectly. Pretty ;)
