Sorry, I've been away. We were in Hawaii for a month!! Best time ever! I learned to surf. I can now stand up on a shortboard. Not bad for a mountain girl, huh? I would highly recommend surfing if you ever go there. The water is nice, the waves are tasty and surfing is like zen, as my sister describes it. You study the waves a lot, get the rhythm. Paddle out, feel the pulse and know in your heart when to take the next wave. By my last week I was a total addict. That's all we did. Eat, surf, sleep. Grownups did other stuff. We surfed and surfed and surfed....Heaven will have surfboards.
I have this model! It was a freebie, I think. I like what you did with it! Very Nouveau with the tree and petal/leaves. That door would be cool to have in real life, especially a purple one. Oh, my goodness, I would love it. Wow, super.
Isn't the door a great model? I can't wait to see what you do with it. Do you have plans to make a surfing image? That could be very challenging...
BE jealous. Just kidding. It was so wicked fun. I can't wait to go back next summer. They're friends so as a vacation it's not that costly. All you need is a round trip plane ticket. I actually didn't get too tan. I'm Irish. We turn pink. Actually I wore a ton of waterproof sunblock and wore titanium oxide on my nose and under my eyes and chin. I got a little "rosy" tan, probably about three shades darker than before we got there. You could only tell when I came indoors. Always wear your sunblock if you're fair-skinned. You can read about my adventures in my Hawaiian journal. Actually it's not that good, forget it. I sort of wimped out because who wanted to write when you could surf 24/7. We surfed at night too.
I started to make a surfing one but it was kind of hard. I ended up not doing it. I stuck to land. I don't know how to use the door yet. I like your idea though. It's awesome.
